A Toy Story

This week I found a toy store for the first time here in Dresden. I was fascinated! It was very different from the stores is Brazil. Here there are all kinds of toys and all of them are placed in the same way, showing each and everyone of them is important.

There are animal miniatures, baby dolls with many outfits, Bosch kits with tools and appropriate gloves, food made of wood, magic cube and many variations, board games, card decks of all kinds, little tins that were RPG games, fantasies, things I don't even recognize and others I can't remember now and books. I thought it was awesome that they sell books as well as toys!

Of course, there are also toys that are "famous" in Brazil, like Monster High, Lego and Playmobyl, but they are not in prominent or special place or have bigger quantities than the others.

The store was cozy, the shelves were much lower than we usually see in Brazil and it was all in all very pretty.

I loved the experience! When I get to know more stores like this I will check if they are all the same. And maybe I will also be able to get some pictures.

What are toy stores like where you live?

Excavation sites

The places where Neumarkt is being excavated. These areas were destroyed during the war and are being rebuilt. It's really close to where we're staying, so I pass by them everyday.

Royal Palace

The Royal Palace is located opposite to the Zwinger. It has really beautiful architecture!

Bruhl's Terrace

Walking around Bruhl's Terrace at night.

Zwinger

I found the Zwinger during a walk in search for one of the Christmas markets (that I still haven't found!).

It is so beautiful I went back during the weekend so that R could see it too.
