The first flower in the post was also the first to show up on everybody's gardens. Overnight, every garden was full of them! The one in the picture was broken by accident when Cookie, very surprised, first found it.
When I went to Universitätsklinikum I remebered I needed to schedule another appointment, but somewhere else. It was close, so I took a tram and went. When I got to the clinic, the doctor also had prolonged the holiday!
But I realized I was really close to the Blaues Wunder, so I decided to go there.
The pictures aren't very good because I took them with my phone and it was raining and dark. When I go back, I'll take better pictures.
Look at the Elbe riverbank, it's so large and beautiful!
I managed to take a picture of a white tree, like I promised to try when I talked about them. I thought this restaurant was really nice to go on a beutiful day, so I took a picture of it to show R and later realized the tree was there. It is already turning green, but you can still have a good idea of how white they get.
I knew this street sign would interest many people, so I decided to add this picture (hehe). I didn't go check the wine street because it was starting to rain even more. When I go back, I'll come here and tell you what it's like.
While the yellow flowers came by themselves, in the middle of dry branches and dead grass, the white flowers came with the green.
Some trees, seen from a distance, are completely white. I couldn't take a picture of them because I was in the bus, but I saw many by the river. Maybe some other day I'll be able to take a picture?
Getting to Waldpark. We walked there, but cars and busses pass here as well.
This park is relatevily close to our house. If I was to walk there by myself, it would take me roughly 15 minutes to get there. With the dogs, it varies. Nina likes to sniff every leaf, rock or... any and everything really (hehe), so it takes longer depending on whether I rush her or not.
A few meters later, you can choose to walk on the right or the left side of this street. Since the left side is usually quieter, we went there.
I love this yellow ground flower.
The park is full of paths you can walk on. Some are narrower and surrounded by really tall trees. Others are wider and more open, with grass and benches to sit on. There are usually moms or dads with baby strollers reading books or doing things on their phones and tablets sitting on these benches.
I made this video with my iPhone (hence the not so good quality) so you can see and, specially, hear the park. If you get motion sickness with the movement of the video, just listen to the birds, it's worth it!
Didn't I say there were even busses? We ran into this one when we were going back home.
R always used to tell me the spring here is amazing. I couldn't quite picture it. If you know me, you also know I don't use photoshop (I don't even have it!) and these pictures are taken with my iPhone while I walk the dogs. The color is just like this, very beautiful!
Here on our street some trees are only now beginning to turn green. When they are all full of leaves I'll take a picture of the view from our balcony.
The first pictures were taken at Hermann-Seidl-Park and the last two on streets close to our house.
